GPR70SP is one of the ideal tyre for CBR400 and the other one tat is strongly recommented is M1 Sportec

Bridgestone 014 tyres also good for these bikes. Much newer compound and construction than the GPR70 as well. Very sticky and still quite good wet weather performance. I am still waiting on my rear one as Hurricane still has an 18" rear so had to order in and wait :( Oh well at least the front is good now :)

As for the oil seal question 1 fork often goes but not the other, get then both replaced and get some new 15w oil put in, will make the front not so soft and much better handling. Just got mine done cost $110.

actually i oni change my main jets and pilot jets plus KNN filter and tune with my original endcan. Den went to try at 2nd link oni hit 190 km/h full trottle, den he told me to bring my tong end and let him tune again. say oni tune the air nvr adjust the carb settings. Den went to try oni hit 200km/h, try again week after changing to original clutch lever. Still hit 200km/h oni den bend lower and the bike went faster! oni able to glance the meter hit nippon seiki but unsure exact rpm coz destination rch liao....

but my mech say it still not derestrict yet, still need to do the wiring before it is fully derestrict so i still duno hw far my bike can go or maybe is areadi max....:cheeky:

easy....just look at your engine(just behind your radiator)...can just peep through your fairings...

look at the part where the engine head and body meets(the one with gasket)...If it is oily(very,,till your engine looks terrible), maybe there's a leakage....that's because your gasket has worn out and need to be change... :cheeky:

Fork leakage too...oil spills out of the oil seal area...easy to spot...

wanton>>>i think u might need to consider on selling from owner to owner....pushing to bike shop may cause u to lose alot...Just my POV... :thumb:

Thanks alot... but im just asking a question, i looking for cbr, not trying to sell one. Jus wanna know more. Anyway, thks again. :thumb:

Fork seals with new oil I paid $110

DID 520 ERV2 gold x-ring chain $120 at LAB

Sprockets I am not sure but would allow around $100 for front and rear

Not sure what a "rear gantong" is. If your rear shock is worn out can take it out and have it serviced or get a cbr600f3 or f4 rear shock which will bolt in and give better damping, adjustment and slightly more rear height.

hey zero, my rear shock till nw haven received yet, payment made on 18 sept. hw much longer I have to wait or hw can i make enquiries on the shipment? i paid it thru air freight :weep: :sian: :giddy:

Email the seller and ask him what is going on. Will usually take 1-2 weeks to arrive here in my experience. There is a gauranteed 3 day service but that costs a fair bit more so people only use it for little things.

I have a set of discs and forks on the way myself as well :)

Send me a message when your shock arrives and we can meet up and have a chat and I will show you how it all goes in. Would like to have a look at some other owners cbr400s too :)

i think rear gantong is wat u mean by rear shock.

Btw, $110 is service the whole fork? ( meaning change oil seal + cahnge fork oil )

Today i went to change RK X-ring chain + front rear sprockets. $180

Front, rear tires, battlax $240

Sterring cone $85. (for this, i happen to go to a bike shop after i've got it fix then the bike shop tell me they only charge 70-75. lol )

the mileage plastic thingy at the front sprocket, $9. (this i find it really expensive)

Cos, the start of the pipe till the mid pipe, its very rusty... donno when the rust will fully eat into the pipe.
