I know of another place:

Ah Ann Trading

27 Jalan Buroh

Singapore 619483

Tel: 9625 6549 (Chan Kok Ann)

The shop occupies a small area inside ... so you will need to ride in to find it ... availability depends on luck ... if they happen to lay their hands on a scrap bike similar to yours recently then you will probably find what you want there ... more likely you will find Hurricane stuff there as compared to R model ones ... best is call first to find out

Email the seller and ask him what is going on. Will usually take 1-2 weeks to arrive here in my experience. There is a gauranteed 3 day service but that costs a fair bit more so people only use it for little things.

I have a set of discs and forks on the way myself as well :)

Send me a message when your shock arrives and we can meet up and have a chat and I will show you how it all goes in. Would like to have a look at some other owners cbr400s too :)

the seller had sent me the postage number and told me to check with usps. check online usps track and confirm den they only reply date of delivery was on 21/09/05 but did not state wen it will be delivered or wher the location it will be delivered to. Kinda worried man as its my 1st time to purchase from ebay..... :sian: :sian: :sian:

not sure for N model but L model pilot jet shld be 45mm. some ppl wana mod their R model to L model so they change their pilot jet from original 35mm to 45mm thus sometimes may cause the bike to jerk or unable to perform. If wana mod R model muz change to bigger header, main jet, pilot jet and pipe as well.

Pilot jet is for low revs below around 5k rpm, main jet takes over above 5k rpm.

wat does this jet do?

The jets control the amount of fuel that is injected into the carburettor, because there is much more air coming into the engine at higher revs a much larger jet is needed to supply enough petrol, at lower revs though a much smaller jet is needed to give fine control so that the bike idles and runs at low speeds without needing to be incredibly rich.

They fueling changes over from the pilot jet to the main jet at around 5-6k rpm depending on the bike so often there is a slight stumble here on a poorly tuned bike.

If you change to a high flowing air filter like K&N or add a free flowing exhaust pipe then the engine can pull in more air and expel exhaust quicker and easier, you often have to install new jets of a larger size to match the increased gas flow you will get. This is called "re-jetting" or often commonly referred to as carb tuning.

There are various settings available for each jet size generally as well for fine adjustment.
