if u coming tml, u will see the older product, concentrated one..

need to mix wif distilled water.. but worth much more than the current one..

the old one have being using for years le..

one way is find out yr bike need how much coolant is u give mi the dimension of yr radiator size.. estimate will do..

then i advice u the amount needed..

Hi guys am now riding a cbr R model and have gone a full service recently. Please advise how are these quotes considered as compared to the ones which you guys normally go?? my is done around defu lane. Here are the list:

 

1xYuasa battery $85

4T oil (Motul 300V) 4x30=$120

Tyre front and rear $370

oil filter $18

coil assembly $85

Rim repair (front and back) $70

Rim bearing (front and rear) $75

flush coolant $18

'HEL" Brake Line front n rear $180

Brake Pad $50

Workmanship $0

 

Total after a bit of nego $1050.00

 

Later found some prob again as bike cannot start and went back to shop to change coil and gasket $290(paid)

 

TOTAL $1340 (fully paid)

 

Now bike still at shop as on the way back found oil leakage (its the coolant leakage according to the mechanic) and some smoke (i see liao ride also so dangerous)..both of which that comes out from the 2 black pipes on the right side of the bike..prob due to radiator worn out liao..he quote $500-600 (new) and $200+ (2nd hand)..so how is this quote considered?? (please note that bike still at shop so haven pay yet)

 

So dear cbrians, how do you think the above quotes are considered esp the $1340 which i have alreally paid?? Do advise..

 

If damn ex or i really kana tok until jialet jialet..will stop patronising dere anymore..

eh..i think the 1st list din get spoil...ok when i 1st sent the bike for service,the mechanic has already ask me wat my budget is and i simply told him those need to change just change and those can use just use it..he also told me he does not wan to go over the limit and try to help me save cost..

 

for eg. he did tell me the coil,gasket and radiator at dat point still can use and temporary dun change first later change still can just do the more impt one(the ones in the 1st list)..but i did not expect for the coil gasket and readiator to koyak so fast..so now must do liao..dats the reason..

 

the reason y i post this is dat i am asking how are the quotes considered as compared to other shops like i mentioned earlier??

o.o wa the shop radiator exp man... tt time i change radiator like only $400 ++ nia... and b4 tt i got a 2nd hand 1 at around $150 Plus water pump... bro tink u shld consider another beta shop... tis 1 here seems to "like" u a lot...

hel or venhil all these are STEEL braided hose..

 

if u use normal OEM original honda hose, when u conpress ur brake levers all the way, it will reach one point where the brake levers will soften.. but if u use those after market hose, they wont.. plz correct me if im wrong..

 

ur front brake being not very responsive may not be due to hose at all.. check ur brake fluid, pads and etc... hel brake hose usually are sold at S$150.. unless u can get very cheap lobangs..

eh not realli, but it is like a lot of free play... its like my brake lever is as gd as my clutch lever's free play like tt... when it is suppose to have much more tension...

just finish doing up my oiler at sun plaza.. haha..every place where there is cable tie, i put extra epoxy on it.. waiting for it to dry and gel up..

 

after tat will be doing a water proof test on it first.. nb.. my whole shirt wet liao.. was doing in all the time in the basement carpark..
