Hi, thanks for ur insight. The carburettor was synchronised at the shop so i dunoe if they did wat u say but i did try moving the handlebars back n forth but idle speed nv change. Anyway i not going back to the shop again, i told them this problem they tell me to wash and synchronise . But in the end nv solve the problem. Any gd bike shop to recommend?

 

u have to check the wiring regarding the headlight portion..

check that the socket connecting the light bulb is in gd condition.. no sign of melting plastic.

check the fuse at the fuse box especially the one for headlight..

make sure all the fuse are in gd condition(no melt, no oxidation)

the individual slots in the fuse box is in gd condition(no melted part)

hi all cbr riders, does batt affect ur power not? coz my batt now weak ar then the power is not like before told my friend thn they say im used to the power le how how how??? Bro fx110 nid ur help on this thou...thanks

 

batt do a part..

but the effect is not so great when the rpm getting higher..

Battery is only work when your bike havent start, like signal, headlight ect

 

The battery job is only to start the bike(turn the stater motor) and store the extra charge (regulate the output also).

 

when the bike was started, all the electricity load(signal, headlight,CDi ect) will take over by alternator.

sometime the battery will "help" the alternator when the electricity load increased at lower RPM.

 

Battery dosent so much effect much on bike performance.

lorry 12V battery ah,

i think the RPM meter is easy to clear coz u noneed put the magneto(flywheel) already.the engine will feel very "light", RPM can go up very fast.

 

but u may have poor idling and battery need charge regularly(not for road use).

and also will u trouble your bike when climb hill :dot:

Haha ok. Yesterday i encounter the problem again. So i stop the bike to the side and try to create the same scenerio again. My bike light was on and the fan was off when the bike die off. So i off the light and start the bike again. Everything was ok. Then i try on the light , the bike after like 1 min will encouter sudden drop in rpm and raise then drop till finally die. Then i try start bike with light off again, everytime is ok. This time i on the light then immediately switch on the fan. The rpm drop and die instantly. All this time the temp is around mid level and my bike voltage is ok ( slight drop when i on the fan , slighly less then 12 )

 

Is it due to wiring or fan or tuning out or??? I am really confuse leh. Thanks for ur input. :)

maybe i should find out also, which workshop got most of the parts for CBR? incase any parts on my bike got wear n tear... thx any nice bro out there..^^

 

which bike shop also the same coz they get honda parts fro FJT which is located at rowell road just oppostie LAB.. after getting the parts they may sell u slightly expensive...

 

might as well get frm FJT if u noe how to diy.. for me i cant diy.. lol..

getting from shop doesnt mean necessarily gone case.. wad the majority of the shops do is buy in the bike, the most change EO and spark plug.. after that the bike is for sale again.. buying frm shop is ok, as long as u manage to test the bike, hope ur luck is good.. and tat's all.. pray that ur CDI doesnt broke down after 1 day of OTR.. hahhaa.. tat one is really suay lor.. :)

to increase your ride height & better suspension, u can try stock CBR600 F4i monoshock or any 90's CBR600. Btw, Ohlins had produced superb monoshock for them which u also can plug n play to CBR400. :)

normal idling rpm should between 1 and 1.5
