My bike having some little issues at the moment which make it hard to ride so I maybe out. Might be out for the rest of the year as I am going to put my bike in to get the carbs completely rebuilt which might take a few weeks and then I am going on Holidays over christmas but will see what happens. Bike going to workshop on Monday so I will know better next week about time frames.

 

Anyway if anyone has a CBR Fireblade or RVF front rim to sell let me know cause I need one

why do u need the rim? did u try scrape yard?

I have a hurricane model, it has 3 spoke rims with an 18" rear rim.

 

I changed the rear for an NSR250 MC21 17" rim so I have better selection of tyres and better handling but it is a 6 spoke rim same as on the fireblade models, so now my rims don't match!! So its not urgent to get the front rim but it will look better when I have it

 

I think fireblade parts would be rare at the scrapyards, too new still.

hi guys, i can't start my cbr unless i rev. every single time, no one press starts, not even when the engine is hot. is that normal? what could possible be wrong? i just had my carb serviced yesterday but the problem persists. L plate N model here, thanks bruddas

So did you get your engine troubles sorted out as well?

 

hard starting could be valve clearances out, old battery, idle mixture set incorrectly on the carbs, idle adjuster set too low.

 

Should start instantly when warm without any choke.

 

From cold pull the choke on and hit the start and it should start instantly as well.

i planned to get a 2A bike narrow down my choice to CBR n GSXR..i found out the GSXR spec n the pro and cons of it...

now hv to ask u guys..

Q1.how many models are there?i heard threre is L n duno wat model..

wat model goes wif wat plate?how to see ?

Q2. does CBR have any major peoblem?like eh cdi or wat?

Q3. its FC high ?full tank how many L? can go ab how far?

Q3. spare parts hard to get ?does it hv high maintance?

Q4. is the price steep ?

i planned to ride for long time it is worth it ?

Q5. wats its top speed for top ?its recovery fast ?
