Anyone can teach me what is Tri-arm and what is gull arm?

I think thats also called NC23. BUt wonder what difference it have compared to hurricane.

I guess I found my own answer.

CBR400 is called AERO NC17.

 

CBR400RL/ CBR400RRL is called Tri arm NC23.

CBR 400RRL, RRM, RRN, RRR is called Gull arm NC29.

one question here, i feel like installing white headlights on my cbr r model.. will it cause any complications like bulb or fuse blow anot?? and bikeshop say change the bulb around 8-10 bucks only... any advice on whether i should change anot?

So total 330km/13.5liter when I trottle more. If trottle less, cruise more, will normally be 360km. How much is the FC like that? I remember is 20+km/liter.

 

the rpm T 6th gear should be:

70km/h - 4k

90km/h - 5.5k

100km/h - 6.3k

110km/h - 7k

120km/h - 7.5k

130km/h - 8k

140km/h - 9k

150km/h - 10k

160km/h - 11k

170km/h - 12k (needle shaky already so take average)

180km/h - 13k

190-195km/h - 14k

whats ur sprocs size? mine is 15,40.. when my needle touch between the word KM/HR and NIPPON in the speedometer at 6th gear, my rpm is only at most 13..if ur needle hit 195 while ur rpm is at 14, ur FC shouldnt be that great cos it mean ur sprocs size is more to pickup, agree?:confused:

mi too..

same here, mine was worse 190 hit res already.. but that was past.. after which i change carb with my fren cos he is selling his cbr which FC is 300+ den res, my FC improve to 270+ b4 res... its a big diff in money if u ride this bike long... so better change the carb with ur frens if he is pushing the bike to shop.. :smile:

make sure the watt of the bulb is the same as the previous one..

too high watt will melt yr wiring, fuse, bulb socket..

I used Philip DIamond Vision H4 for my headlight for CBR400RRR. Its kind of ex. I bought at $83 per pair. But if you buy during car shows, they always sell at 15% discount. Normally promotion is abt 6-8% for a pair and 10% if you buy 2 pair.

Ok...I admended my typo error. At 150km/h is 9k confirm becos I cruise at that speed frequently in NS highway towards KL. Then onwards is abt more or less than 1k rpm per 10km/h rise. Not very sure of the rpm, as the needle is not very stable also plus concentrating on the road. I only know the power cut come in at 190-195km/h then panicked and concentrade real hard on the handling...haha.

Yah...sold off 1 year plus already. Wanted to buy back from the owner, but he not selling...If he sell, maybe I will buy back if the price is right.

Change to led if there is...
