let's say petrol costs $2 per litre.

 

so, he meant full tank to reserve, he pump $25 on rvf. meaning he used 12.5l before hitting reserve.

 

and he pump $30 on cbr, meaning he used 15l before hitting reserve from full tank.

 

so, going by that, he meant to say cbr tank bigger than rvf, cos rvf 12.5l hits reserve while cbr tank 15l hit reserve.

 

distance (mileage) or riding style is not a factor here cos he going by $$ (in other words, litres, before hitting reserve.

Hi, may I know how to switch off the radiator fan? I have heard a fan coming on whenever I turn my ignition key but sometimes when I am stopping after riding for some time, I was quite shocked to find out that the fan is off already. Then i off my engine and turn the key again, there is no sound of the fan. Is there something wrong?

 

And may I know if this has got to do with my speedo not working? The speedo suddenly not working halfway when I was on the expressway? Is this cos speedo cable got to change?

the fan will switch on itself automatic 1 unless u install a switch itself

the fan will on when the bike is hot so when the bike is cool to a certain temp then the fan will off la

my speedometer is not functioning properly...

i change my speedo cable, the problem is solved.

The outing supposingly was a good one. But end up... sigh... long story. I wont let histroy repeat liao. wont jio too many ppl out.

 

@ the dam was nice... haya n another bike doing wheelie. ( donno wat bike is tat cos focusing on his wheelie ) Haya wheelie not stable n was hard dashing. Another one was great, the throttle control to maintain the bike up ( more than 45 degrees ) n not dashing. Really make me "big open eyes world". Hahaa...

But i rather jus find one sat n ride down to any bike shop n get it check n done. save all this trying out. Unscrewed one screw at the rider seaet n the batt is there to check, so easy.

Aalex, im not trying to say why u make it so troublesome. im jus trying to advise to any guy who think his batt or rectifier is not in good working condition.

 

For me, sometimes my bike cant start if i don switch off the headlight. So, i went down to the bikeshop n ask them to help me check the batt. Ok, the batt is below 0.3 volts. Boss say its ok. then ok lo. he said if the volt is less than 11.7 then need to change batt liao.

 

Everything settle. No more guessing games.
