Need help!!!! My RR model has serious temperature prob.. After riding for abt 15-20 mins, d temp will soar till 3/4... changed d hose b4 and always top up coolant TWICE a week.. anyone have any suggestions?? been havin dis prob for a year already...... :cry:

bro,i think it is head gasket..

 

your coolant got leak out from the cap?

 

try this,morning time,or when bike is COLD,open the coolant cap(NEVER OPEN WHEN HOT!!)

 

start your bike and rev to around 4 rpm.your coolant shall be "circulating" and not "pouring out" from the radiator mouth.

 

if it is pouring out,meaning 70% head gasket gone.

 

hope that helps...by the way,my bike kena this problem now doing MAJOR overhaul!

 

bro,drop by my thread and register yourself under sportbike section,look for title"CBR400 fall in and gather".we got meeting outing and all stuff in line....
