btw, was reading tru our bike mannual, seems like the J&K,L&N,R models have diff cam lobe sizes.

 

INTAKE LOBE

J,K -33.730

L,N- 33.770

R- 33.690

 

EXHAUST LOBE

J,K -33.280

L,N- 33.320

R- 33.740

 

J,K is intake duration > exhaust duration

L,N is intake duration > exhaust duration

R is intake duration

 

 

i know that longer intake and longer exhaust timeing will give you a high performance engine but poor fuel economy.

 

 

 

note, all are in mm.

bro tink 1st how much can u save?? etc. yr time, from ur house to tuas,back again, how many litre gone, traffic jam..etc.....in the end not too much different lah better pour ur money in our own country..at least here is safer than there...agree...

true going in from 2nd link will not be tt worth but i staying in woodlands going in from 1st link still save from the toll fee, between 10am to 3pm save from being jam. and from jb mobil to my house only 0.7km.

Hey, Could i ask a couple of questions for 2 technical problems?

 

Firsly, Sometimes when my bike is idle-ing either at gear one fully clutched in or in Neutral gear and bike is a at stop position for eg at traffic light, the engine just dies off.What are the possible problems?

 

Secondly, 3-4 times when i go down to start my bike,i push the start button the cranking sound comes but the bike doesnt start.I'll have to keep trying for about 5 - 10 mins until finally it works and ill have to slightly hold the throttle so that the engine doesn't die off.Could it be because of the spark plug? or could it be something to do with the Run/Off mechanism internally?

Could be spark plugs. Seems like the plugs ain't firing well.

to fix it temporarily, tune your idling higher. like 1.5 or 1.8 so bike won't stall at traffic lights.

 

for my case was that the rectifier not charging properly.

wires connected to the rectifier was changed to new wires

Might be one of ur fuse fused. You check ur fuse first b4 changing ur carb.

I juz went in and pump my bro's bike. OMG!!! I pump rm 43.30. First time i see the money so much. I think slowly i will get used to it. Anyway from my hse to the pump only like 15km. So still worth it although my hse not as near as heisehui. Haha.
