My prob:

Recently got crash with my Spark135.. The front absorber was kinda shaky... Thus,i decided to ask some mechanic to look into the matter...Handle-bar auto-pilot-to-the-left if let go the handle bar..

Location site: W***

Told mechanic my story of what happended... Let him test ride my bike..Then he say... "Your wheel-bearing,fork-oil,need to replace new set of the front absorber(the-twin-metal-thingy) & oso check alignment...

Was quoted for $230 for the repair(including worksmanship)..

When i ask for 1st-hand fully-stock Spark135 front-absorber, was quoted $280

proceeded to U** after further thinking

Location site: U***

After doing my monthly servicing, went to ask a mechanic(Kelvin if im not wrong) about my prob.. He told that my wheel-bearing was "gone-case".. But then my cone-bearing still ok.. So i replace the wheel-bearing..

What he suggested was "U change your wheel-bearing 1st lh..See how..If still no effect,then go for pressing @ $60...

In my opinion:

- U*** is like helping & assisting in a way that is best for me..

- W** is kinda ex.. Dunno if i kenna chop..

Current bike condition:

- Feel tighter(like new front) with new set of wheel-bearing

- gonna still observe the situation

Summary:

- Anyone wants to comment?

- Pricing?

i guess that depends la bro...coz diff mech will have diff opinions...they each know how to solve the problems but they use a diff kind of approach to solve it like for example some would repair one by one and the other will be all at once to see the results which would result in u spending more but at the same u extend the lifespan of the other parts...:cheeky:

i totally agree with this, coz some pple prefer corrective maintanence to preventive maintainence... so depends on customer also...

so all in all is up to u to decide which is best for both the bike and your pocket cause you need to give the green light to the mech on what to do after they pass down their advice to you...:cheeky:

Let me try.

One day, you woke up and felt body aching, and coughing. You went to see a doctor, and after examining you for a few minutes and his remedy is to have a brain surgery, a heart by-pass, full blood transfusion, and also a vasectomy.

Your problem of "Handle-bar auto-pilot-to-the-left if let go the handle bar.." may not be a problem at all because most roads are cumber left to allow for water drainage, or it could be you unconsciously lean to the left when you hands off the handle bar.

Whatever your problem, it definitely does not warrant such a major repair all at one go.

Anyway, what's all this about "Location site: W*** Y**", "U***** Motor" ? Why are you hiding behind all these if you are stating facts ?

The simple solution to your problem is to S*** ****y *** *****.
