Hi, i would like to ask if i buy a bike from the shop right, do i need to leave the IC there? and would like to enquire if i buy bike from shop what documents would i receive on taking the bike.

u shd NEVER leave ur ic anywhere. even if they want to take to record details, as will be required to complete transfer of ownership docs, you should insist on them transcribing whatever that is relevant. never ever leave ur ic anywhere, or with anyone. wait ur house splash with O$P$ or whatever nonsense.

 

maybe i'm paranoid, but that's how i feel abt something so impt.

Normally for transfer of ownership, layup or anything where the shop need to go lta, they require ic. Just make sure you get a memo or letter from them saying that they are holding to your ic for said transaction...

not to worry.. jus keep all the documents tat is being given by the bike shop..

 

if u happen to encounter the o$p$ thing jus go ahead with a police report.. stating all the facts that u left ur IC with the bike shop but they use it for some other purpose..
