wrap bonnet

any idea how much to wrap a bonnet carbon fibre or matt black? i was quoted $180 - cf, $100 - matt black.

does wrapping a bonnet prevent it from scratches by flying stones on malaysia highway? cos going somewhere near KL soon. scare come bk, bonnet paintwork damage.

i bought dry 3m cf @ 50+ 1 feet from ubi side, korea laminated type cheaper 30+ can get but strength not very good

Nope, just slow car. The CF is for protection against water marks and bird droppings

just to share i did before at one of the famous cf laminating shop for my front grille which cost like $500, but quality wise is good without colour fading, and you can chose your cf colour tone. Seriously i nv met before any shop can wrap my bonnet under $300. Mind to share the contacts?

my sss he quote me $180. asked about honda civi, $250. i havent decide whether to do anot. 1 thing good is he do mobile grooming cars & wrap cars. if you interested, pm me. i'll pm you the contacts to ask for quotation.

If you think it would protect your bonnet, then you'll be surprised when you want to peel if off,u'll get your car bonnet paint sticking to the CF which in turn requires u to re-spray your bonnet...this is talking from experience...correct me if i'm wrong

MOA, maybe yours can be done 200++(more than normal flat bonnet) because of scooby maybe my friend can help you

I hope you're wrong because initially, my workshop was respraying my bonnet and I almost told them to spray it black and decided to let them spray the body colour back. Wanted to Matt black or CF it. End up I heard advise from my friend doing the stickers, aftermarket spray jobs ain't as strong as our JAP cars paint job. So there's a risk of what you mentioned. So you got a point there. is your bonnet or the affected area resprayed before?
