tubeless tyres mean that the whole tyre is fitted straight into the metal rims.

 

difference between a tube and a tubeless is that when it punctures... tubed tyres will lose their air much faster. A case of "pop" and all air is gone.

tubeless goes "pssssst" before the air is gone.

 

a matter of saving lives if it puncture while moving on the road.

 

the safety portion is more applicable if you are talking about point puncture (eg. nail), but if you are talking about a frickin slash on the side, obviously it doesn't make much difference. :smile:

safety first,,,but pity no 8 inch tubeless whitewall in singapore la.
