have got no idea at all about the price...

swan can i suggest for you to go personally and have a look at them personally rather then me posting it here...cuz i dont think its nice and wise for me "to promote" ah joo's bike in any thread or forum la.. i'll only do it for a person's PERSONAL bikes or cars not for a shop...

sorry unable to help you in that..

hi swans,

i suggest you work backwards.esp when it comes to a very DIY machine such as a vespa.i see youre very inquisitive, which is a good thing.

but you really need to work backwards ,first just plunge and buy any vespa.ride that vespa .communicate with your vespa and learn the nitty gritty.something like swimming,..you really need to dive in my friend...

please dont take offense to what i said..i really mean well :p

It's easy to laugh...It's easy to hate.

Though it takes strenght to be gentle and kind.

Hey guys!

i'M nEW HERE man....a freshie bike license holder(although been driving for half a year already) and awaiting for my very own dream bike..The Vespa.

Been reading the past post in this forum and found it to be very entertaining and ofcoz infomative.

Love to join in the kakis man if u all dun mind. I've always been seeing those vespa gangs but never knew anyone or dared to go up to them and ask abt their bikes etc etc.

Well maybe as my virgin post here. I may wanna add in a question, how long does it take for a regular/standard job of "building/restoration" of the vespa? hmm standard jobs like...body work, paintjob, wiring/cables etc, cosmetic stuffs etc etc.

I'm trying hard to still be patient with the place where i bought my bike from to get my bike ready. Its already a month now.

Coz i am new maybe i am impatient as maybe a vespa really needs some time to do all that.

Peace.

Hey Ampas..Welcome! Which shop is getting your scoot ready? must be an 'extensive' job to take so long to get done. Good luck!

:: welcome, bro... restoration really takes a while... depends on the workload of the mechanic and the workshop... varies from 3 weeks to over a year... yes over a year... no joke... well fyi... i had mine done a little over 7 mnths... impatient yes... really ridiculus... but it paid off... patience's a virtue when it comes to owning this beloved machine... look at it as the unexpected suprise... and you are more than welcome to chill with us scooterists *even better is you live in the bedok south area... *cos i live there ahahahaha~~!! ::

hi ampas...

welcome to the thread...and also if you want to hang out with us do drop by at our hang out place...

as for the waiting for the scoot to be ready,

it all depends on the shop itself if they are not busy i think it'll take about maybe a month or so...

well ampas...

it does not matter where you bought it or how much it cost...

what matter most is the flame and passion you have for the scooter itself...
