Fast Throttle Review

The customized fast throttle had just being installed on my humble Super 4 Spec 3 - 27 Oct 2012.

How It Works?

The original, smaller throttle body was replaced with a larger circumference/diameter to enhance the pulley efficiency.

For example a throttle angle of 180 degree is needed to achieve 100km/h previously will now require only 80 degree

to achieve the same speed.

There is a misconception that "fast throttle" improve engine efficiency- but it is not - the improved experience that most

up-grader narrated was due to the improve "interface" and/or responsiveness of the engine (as no modification was

done on the engine per se- hahaha).

In comparison, this customized throttle can pretty well put similar products to shame (especially those above $300).

The thing I like about this mod is that it is stealth to the authority as no additional fanciful parts are require. On my

run home, I experienced more torque and responsiveness without the straining pain in my wrist (excessive twisting

of the throttle). Instead I was able to achieve an impressive power-band which enhances overtaking and acceleration

with minimal efforts.

Owner of after-market exhaust might also experience the fluidity in acceleration at about 7-10k rpm as the

throttle mod requires minimal twist angle which allows rider to maintain a balance between grip & control.

In conclusion, this product is suited for rider who:

1) Need to pull away from traffic after red-lights.

2) Frequent long distance riding - reduce wrist fatigue.

3) Need the extra-power in short notice to get away from tele-tubbies P-plate driver.

4) People to track - to sustain the power linearity during corners.

Thanks for the great product at a recession price =) By the way this is a push-pull

system which only applies for class 2A & above bikes, 2B bike can go for daytona

(cheaper) which only supports/requires pull-operation.
