mod parts can get from Taiwan..

 

now if I can get one of these Taiwan scoots, I can get the parts via visits or friends

 

u can get one from heng motor, i bought mine from there...

I have been researching a lot recently...

 

I've found a couple of more models available here in Singapore...

 

1. SYM FIGHTER 150 - Heng Motor

2. SYM FIGHTER 150 DX (VS 150) - Mah

3. YAMAHA GTR 125 - Ban Hock Hin (No more CygnusX according to them)

 

But of course I believe an actual visit to the motor diams might reveal more models.. so I will be performing round island motor diam tour tomorrow :D

no mods at the moment or rather couldn't find much stuff to mod...

was at tai hin some time ago....they say too few on the road liao..

nothing much to mod...which may be a blessing in disguise to my wallet...hahaha.

i m considering changing the rear shocks, i tink tat shouldn't be too difficult to find...

the panels a bit tricky to dismantle, have to remove underseat compartment to access most of the bolts n nuts. i end up stripping most of the panels just to remove the rear splash guard to shorten it...

What shocks are you considering? In fact I find that the OEM ones are more than adequate as the maximum weight for this bike is 170kg....

So it wont bottom up unless you and your partner are in the region of .1 ton..

i happen to come across a taiwanese website, they have some really nice mods n rear shocks in their rides..

they have some nice pics there...

Wah! Yes I think Cygnus is very popular in Taiwan. And even their stock models are nicer than the ones here. Sad but true. Found any mods to buy back from there?

The typhoon is here, and most shops are closed...

 

It's easy to find mods such as suspension (fork+rear shock), brakes (caliber+disc) and HIDs

 

and the cost varies from maybe 10 SGD to 500 SGD (I know high end shock will cost about 500 SGD one side)

Saw the news about the typhoon in Taiwan... looks really bad. A hotel collapse because of it! Take care over there.

 

Looks like a trip to Taiwan in the near future is on the cards for Cygnus mod.

 

Unless of course there's like a website and we could buy over the net.

well it could be up to "70" but of course you're going to face problem with inspection and most of all this skills is not known or professional enough in SG. The projects to upgrade the scooter can be done within 3days as long as parts is ready than its the tuning that will take days for best performance.
