hi guys,

 

since it seems this thread is not moving much, might i suggest we find a time and place to play first. I don't think there would be any trouble finding enough kakis judging by the number signing up.

 

So here's the deal. I suggest a Wednesday so there's something to look forward to mid-week. Time put at 6.30pm so people can make it down after work. All this not set in stone but suggestions and changes can always be worked out. It's two weeks away since next wed is day after labour day holiday.

 

Wednesday, 9th May

Time : 6.30pm

 

Location : Marina South field opposite Victor's superbowl

well, night time soccer only can either street soccer court or the cage.

i'm game for anything. Just itching to play soccer once again.

i do have a few places to suggest

- the old tanjong katong girls sch basketball court/field (which is just beside the court)

-nus: here can choose between playing on the hard courts, there are several to choose from or the multi purpose open field, which is pretty big, where we can jus play a mini game.

- old bradell-westlake sec sch basketball courts: tends to be crowded during the weekends i think though

for old TKGS go there via haig road (both PIE and ECP would somehow lead you to this road) and go into jalan tembusu, you guys can park at APSN (shown on the map),

for nus, travel by aye, exit clementi and head towards the sports and recreation centre (SRC). there's a carpark just in front of the SRC, free entry for bikes

for old bradell-westlake, take CTE and exit bradell. go straight untill you see caltex on your left. do not go up the flyover when you see one!! there's a slip rd (hope it's not blocked coz long time nv been there, dunno wat's the situation, paiseh) that leads into the old school compound. find a nice shady place and park your vehicles there.

make it 8am... so that by the time we finish, its ard 10am or so. its also a safety precaution against heat stroke etc.
