Fraser's hill .... Need directions

Dear kruzers, new and old, I am going to frasers this coming christmas weekend for a 2 day stay there... I went with the Kruzers to Fraser's once, for the valentine special.... Wanted to experience it again, thus I made a booking there already...

 

I need help... If its not raining season, I would love to travel by bike... the problem is that I don't wexactly remember my way there... If the kruzers have anything which can help, pls do. I need to know when to turn, where to head for and such...

 

If it is confirmed to be rainy season, then would have to take the bus... Anyone with experience in this department?? Help pls... Thanks.

the fastest way is to go via NSH to Rawang, then follow road sign to Kuala Kubu Bahru. From KKB, you'll see road signs that leads you to Bukit Fraser. Have Fun!

 

Or you can wait till February when we do our annual pilgrimage to Frasers!

If I can take leave on Feb, then I would most definitely go with u guys. But this time, I promised my fiance already that we would go for a malaysian trip, and I cannot think of a better place.

 

Btw, thanks isaac for the info. I just hope that rain is not a detriment.

Frankly, Fraser's Hill is not recommended during the monsoon season. There are chances of landslides. So if the road is blocked, you'll probably have to take the alternative route.

 

So if the Gap - KKB route is blocked, you'll have to take the Gap-Bentong route.

 

Furthermore, riding i wet conditions to Frasers is highly not recommended. The hairpin bends are rather tight. Bear in mind that you'll be travelling about 20-30km of twisties ... so wet roads just kills the fun!

 

Oh .. another thing ... now the route from the Gap to Fraser's Hill is one way up and oen way down. There is a new route up from the Gap to Fraser's Hill. The old route is now only decend.

Probably end February ... will let you know as soon as we confirm the dates.
