Transfer ownership

hi there..my bike currently under coi n im the subrider of the owner..i just coi the bike from the owner at 256 per month for another 2 yrs..been with the bike for 1 year plus now..the question is dat i wanna change ownership to me..how do i go bout it? any guys have any idea..do i have to pay the bikeshop bout 3-4months instalment or just transfer ownership payment? need advice..thanx

well it depend of the shop...even My VTR & Phantom cant transfer ownership...have to pay till finnish then can + have to pay early settlement fee...both different shop...Some shop allow u pay up front for 3 or 4 mth..

they say wat i need to pay is..

 

- insurance

- transfer fee

- agreement fee

- 3mths installment upfront

diff shop got diff policy...depand they wan gif u or not ..some bike shop must full settle den can trf....if they wan u pay agreement fee den can trf u tie tie pay lor if wanna trf!!!!!

actually most shops only allow transfer after you settle all the instalments. the difference is whether they allow you settle the instalments early at one go with or without early settlement fee. Tats why when u buy from motorshop have to ask them first. if not later they chop you back.

erm i just want to ask a qn here since its about tranfer ownership. if i am selling my bike to another person, then both me and the buyer must go to lta to settle the transfer? the bike is fully paid.

yup both party needs to sign the paper at LTA. new owner to be bring along valid insurance for the bike.
