Need some Clarification...

Heres the senario....

 

18/09/08 - passed 2b (got 12pts)

18/10/08 - accident (still have 12pts)

22/08/09 - result out: ive lost the case with $200 fine n 9 demerit points (12-9=3pts)

18/09/09 - Dropped p-plate (???pts)

 

so my question is, today will be the day i drop my pplate so how many points do i have now??

 

1) 24pts as ive already have 1 yr experience...

 

or

 

2) 3pts as i need to wait 1 year from the day the result are out den i can get my 24pts...in other words, 22/08/10 = 24pts....

 

correct me if im wrong, from what i know, no matter what happen(except revoke) one are entitle to get 24pts after 1 yr riding experience but some of my friends think otherwise...they told me that from the day the result are out, i have to wait 1 year den can get my 24pts back...cn someone pls enlightened me....thanx...

if i am not wrong today u would be given 24 points but due to ur accident they deduct the 9 points and you would be 15 points. on 22/08/10 then you get back ur 24 points.

easy.... 18/10/08 u accident, so u get 9 pts. it will clear 1 yr after date of offence. ur offence is on 18/10/08, not the day result out. so now u have 24 points. u read this from the tp website under scenarios..

Nope. You have to hold the offence demerit for 1 year. Your probation end date you just get back the 12 points they own you.

oh ya ya true bernardk is rite.forgot u got 12 points to start wif... jus wait for another 10days.... u got 24 pts back.. count down the days... good luck!! btw nw u got 3 points onli

wah! like dat good ar coz i accident 18/10/08 i still got 12 pts...for like 10 mths i hold 12 pts till i got the result on 22/08/09...after 22/08/09 i left wid 3 pts...then this coming 18/10/09 i must have gotten all 24pts back ryte?? in other words, i onli hold 3 pts for lyk 2 mths only... to those who dun actualli undrestand what im posting nvm...its ok...haha...

ya... dats 1 gd thing. erase 1 yr after date of last offence. but actually if smthg were to happen from 18/10/08 till the day ur result out n u were to get any points, den good luck to u... but neway its all pass. congrats tml u get back ur 24 pts...
