need help on switches

hi all electric gurus,

 

i intend to do an led undertray lights , but got an problems with e switches, as went to sim lim tower yesterday, there are so many switch, some AC, some dC then some got written 250amp, may i noe what kind of switches should we get for our bikes as our bikes only operates on 12V, i check woth e auntie , but she claim she also not sure.

 

Pls asssit electric gurus.

How much current does your led strip consume? If you are not sure, you can go to either autobacs or Chop Hock Hong to get those automotive switches. Led strips does not require very high current, usually switches that support up to 5A is more than enough for a 2 to 3 strips depending on consumption of each led strip.
