I don't know any of the parties. However, I appreciate Kenny to come to explain. It is setting a precedence for other bike shop to do likewise and that is good for the culture change in general. To be honest after reading Kenny's response, i will be open to patronise his shop and looks like he will at least go an extra mile to try to resolve matters instead of alienating himself.

Any updates on this case?

 

I just passed my 2b and bought a 2nd hand X9. As I do not have any experience before, I am looking for a reliable scooter shop to service or modify my x9.

 

Some friends actually recommended to me to go this shop. But months before I passed 2b, I already saw a few "not-so-good" comments on this shop. I am a bit worried to go there, because I am a full time poly student and cannot afford to spend few hundred dollars of modification or repairing or servicing my x9.

Every shop have their supporter. So is up to your own liking.

 

From my first scooter till current class 2 scooter. Due to bad experience,i have never went kallang area for anything. The only few time is the tow truck tow to there which leave me no choice but to replace parts from there.

There is always an element of risk when you purchase 2nd hand bike. You have to make the call yourself. One must fall to learn the pain of falling.

second hand X9 is always giving a lot of problem de and the spare parts also cost a lot.

i used to go to this shop last time when i rode X9.

the mechanic the is good. no worried they are good at repairing scooter.

Thanks for your advise. I think I should go to another shop recommended to me by my best friend which is also in Kallang Ave.

Wow, just for the sake of curiosity, I must find out from my newly known scooter friends to find out where the mechanic left to . Because I did overheard friends talking about it during kopi session. Seems like the mechanic who left had a lot of influence.

 

Lastly, all the above were only gossips and rumours I heard. I do not wish to pick any trouble with this shop mentioned in this thread.

I would say that the ex-mech have "know how" knowledge. But i still prefer my mech @ Macpherson which i think better. Think lots of your "Scooter friend" should know who.
