my brother in law have class 3 but still taking he's 2b. but he have a bike which is under he's friend's name. yesterday he went to the bike to start the bike for it to warm up. he's sitting on the bike. then police came and ask for his license and insurance. when he cant show, they cuff him and bring him back to HQ. Just bailed him out last night..what will happen to him?

He never ride the bike. he just sat on it and start the bike..will he's class 3 license be revoked?

c'mon, hope you are not kidding that it happened exactly what you described. Cuffed and all ?

From my experience, usually the police, especially those from land divisions, are friendly to members of the public, unless they were being antagonized.

My guess is that he can be charged for possession ie. attempting to ride, of a vehicle without a valid licence which is a lesser charge as riding one.

serious ar...at least thats what I was told last night lor..damn suay... he's not the type who will "antagonise" the police..

attempting to ride normally whats the charge like...? i know if the bike moved 1 inch..it will be instant revoke...riding w/o license & insurance.

But just sit on the bike and start...i dun know. i underrstand is that a person w/o license and/or insurance cannot have control of the bike. by siting on a bike which is started...i dun noe lah..pls advice..thank you

Since he has made bail, he should already know what's his charge.

If you know the charge, the only one advising him is a lawyer.

SBF is definitely not the place.

There is something gravely wrong with the story. Riding without a valid license is NOT a seizable offence unless it's riding under disqualification. Meaning, there is no need for an arrest.

Better get your facts right on this.... There must be something omitted from the story...
