I've been a member here since the earlier days of SBF when the background of the forum was still Blue. It was a great place to hang around reading up threads and chatting every now and then. Been a little busy for the last few years to really chat or read up over in SBF but I've noticed a drastic change in the nature of SBF.

 

SBF is not as a friendly place to be as it once was.

SBF is now way too commercialized, to be fair they are paying for the server and bandwidth used by us who dont pay a single cent.

 

What really gets on me is that SBF is becoming like PAP!!!

There a whole set of constitution with god knows how many rules and regulations and whatever nots, this is okay with me.

But I notice the mods are working tirelessly to close each thread that contravenes the constitution or has no reason to exist. What happen to live and let live? What is wrong with post clocking? What is wrong with a meaningless thread? This is a forum isnt it? or is SBF being secretly run by the PAP? I just dont get it, do we have to hire a lawyer well versed in the constitution of SBF before we start a thread each time?

Moderation is not to do something too excessively, and a moderator has the power to decide what is too excessive but it seems to me almost anything now is way too excessive?

 

At the end of the day is there gonna be a bike spec & review or not.
