does ur bike have a side stand sensor?

meaning if u kick to gear one but have not released ur side stand, the bike dies as a precatutionary measure...

Diagnose the kill switch first. As what piggy said, use WD40 to clear the grease and road grime from the switch. After that, do a step-by-step diagnostic such as kicking the gear up to Gear 2 from Neutral and check whether the same thing happens.

Get back here with the results.

if kick up already then clean the safety switch with wd40 located at your side stand there. usually this problem is cos of that side stand safety switch.

it could be due to ur side stand sensor .... If really got problem, ur bike will not be even able to start up or even if start up, u will hear weird sound or it wont be a smooth start up.... so have ur side stand sensor checked :) .
