How much to claim for my case?

Hi all,

I met an accident 1.5yrs ago, I have another taxi driver and a passer-by as witness, that its the taxi's fault who cut from the 2nd lane to 1st lane (my lane) because of customer flagging for taxi (TP took down their contacts and NRIC).

Recently, I called the motortiam's lawyer about the status of my case. Secretary told me that they are claiming $1XXXX for my injuries (abrasion on my right knee, elbow, feet, arm & palm). She also mention that the other party will settle with 50%~70% lesser from what we are claiming.

 

I just want to know what am I claiming for and should I stand my ground with the $1XXXX not a cent lesser as I have witnesses?

You can put up a claim for any amount but what you eventually will could differ drastically.

 

You want to have a higher success rate, get a better lawyer, substantiate your injuries and sufferings, and provide proof on how that accident has negatively affected your normal routine, career and the killer stroke, your sex life.
