as long as the bike is on a 10yr COE type, it can be renewed, even b4 the 10yrs is up.

 

how to check if it is on 10 coe and renewable?

 

1) you need owner (bike) ic number and name

2) call LTA and give them the bike number and owner ic name etc. Whats lta number? (1800-CALL-LTA).

3) operator will tell you if renewable and some other infos if you need

 

there are other circumstances which can hender the COE to be renewed other than the above. so, jus call them to check. that's what i do b4 i buy any bike.

 

owners can tell you this and that, when u buy then realised cant renew, thats it for you. got to scrap bike.
