i am looking for ways to increase the range of my bike so i have some comfort level when i take it into malaysia for my trips. i can tolerate the slower speeds but find it terribly inconvenient to have to map routes that include a station every 100km or so.

has anyone done anything like this before? there are, unfortunately, no after market high capacity tanks available for the tw200 today. so i suppose i will have to find a way to retrofit some other tank. it would be great to hear from someone who has done something like this before...either to your tw200 or some other equivalent bike.

hope to hear from you experts!

You might want to consider carrying extra fuel in a separate container with you. If I remember correctly, HomeFix sells this plastic fuel can. The capacity is 5L, should extend your bike's fuel range for another 100km+ :thirsty:
