Cool it man!!!....We are after all bikers in this tiny little island.... PearlST I don't think is trying to be a wet blanket....we do talk any thing under the sun most of the time...hehehe...dun take it to heart...

Well...what you've mentioned is true......at times, I do find it troublesome to go into town with this bike on weekends....first is the traffic jam....next is the right place big enough to park....haiz....

anyone noe wotz the cost of 3rd party and 2ndparty insuarnace??? i am 24

cos i find it weird dat some quote mi $300+ for 3rd party... but $1000+ for 2nd party.. abit werid lahh hmmzz.. any guy got any comments for mi??

todae a uncle park a blue ST under moi blk.. ask him for permision to sit on and handle it abit.. hehehe gettin more n more in luv..

Hi All,

collected my ST from ASphoon today, not bad, done everything nice nice for me, and no any other hidden cost at all, reach there, check bike, pay the difference as stated last week, and i rode my bike off. so ok. road tax, insurance everything as agreed. overall, quite happy.

now on the bike, i'm really novice at it hahaha.. few very silly questions :

1. how to adjust the side mirrors har ? i tried but cannot move leh, scare break it...

2. how to remove the seat ? is there any storage space under the seat ? i tried using the key but can only open the back portion abit, the front like kena stuck..

3. how big is the fuel tank ? how much in the reserve tank ? need to know how much the reserve tank can last me till the next petrol kiosk..

guess that's all at the moment... hope to learn from u guys more in futre outings !

ride it all the way from changi till jurong west just now... super comforfy and power... i regret not getting 1 earlier hehehe...

Feel good huh !!!

i started to fell in love with ST since 1992...

only can afford it in 2001

your questions :-

1. Use your hand by pushing the corner of the mirror

(usually hard...)

2. use your key , turn and lift up the rear... maybe the hook at the front

that make you feel stuck... Lift the back and pull out backward motion

3.Fuel tank 28litres... No Spare tank... you know that u are in reserve only when the fuel light lite up... then about another 50-100km depending on individual bike

HI Boon Hean,

First of all, welcome to the family of ST bikers in SGP...!!!....

With regards to your queries....

(1)The side mirrors are indeed quite hard to adjust. If you have problem adjusting it, try detach the signal light cover covering the mirror first. Then adjust them.

(2) You are almost there in removing your seat.....the front part of the seat actually has a "female hole" for the "male hole" that is on the bike to mate...Thus, you'll need to slowly adjust it out of the joint.

(3)The tank is capable of holding up to 28 litres of fuel....standard for all ST be it US model or Pan Euro type....As for the reserve tank, there isn't any reserve switch....the amount will depends on lots of factor like way of riding etc. Rule of the thumb, in general, most have the capability of going for about another near to 80km after the blink light is there.

hey guyz... went down to hong nam todae ard lavender st coz moi fren reccomend mi dat shop n got a ST for sale.... shop people very unfriendly n bo chup... best thing is when i on the engine.... the bike dun sound smooth nor normal... lotsa clicks, clacks n knocking.... its sounds realli weird... so i ask the mechanic... n he say if i know how a normal ST engine sounds??? n ask to to tell him how a normal engine will sound in a veri buay song n crude way... quite pissed... sound realli like itz cam is loose..

best thing is... he den took away the key n keep it.. preventing mi from trying out the bike..... sighz.... tink i suay.. mit all the unpleasant pple n shops around...

Why don't you try the classified section on 15/05/04 ST...???...There is a ST for sale...No harm viewing it....

Wah....the mechanic so yah yah papaya...!!!....Are you sure he's the mechanic or also the boss...???....If I were you, I'll tell him that I don't know and that's why I ask....!!!....That's very rude of him to treat a potiential customer like you...anyway it's their loss..not yours'....you can try taking up the incident to CASE and the shop will be blacklisted....ball is in your court....$$$is in our pocket.....kekekeke...

ysterdae saw a maroon ST at bukit batok.... from far.. i tot lukz like an aeroplane... so swift n fast.... wif the 2 bright side lights.... at nite the ST lukz like a fighter plane with wheels....

but juz in case right... better get sumone who knowz about the bike... check out the engine... n diff parts of the bike.... juz in case okie.. u nvr know until itz too late.....
