Hi everyone,

thanks for all the answers to my questions :) finally manage to push the mirror after putting in some strength haahaa, as for the seat, will try out again later...

btw, when topping up petrol, can i fill all the up to brim ? now still on my first tank so can't guage my consumption yet. what's the usual consumption range like ? i saw somewhere its somewhere around 17km/L

another question, how do u guys manage to use the main stand har ? just now tried and use up all my bull strength still can't get it on main stand.. now then i realise the test bike at the test centre is so much lighter and easy one....

PerlST, how u keep your white machine clean huh ? this morning first time washing this bike. man ! the surface area is so big hahaha and so many black water marks on the white area hahaha.... shake man, cleaning the bike heehee...

anyway, riding a ST (especially white) real cool man... even got bike come up to me at traffic light and ask abt it on my first day...

i also dropby SanFu to let Ah San test ride my bike to see any major problem. so far, he said mostly ok, except that the battery seems a bit on the weak side... so so far, quite satisfied with Asphoon....

hi BoonHean...

happy to know that u have got a good bike....

U doesnt need to use your "eat milk" strength to put it on the main...

all it need is momentum... (actually thought u at East side want to meet u for wash bike)

U can top up all the way to the brim but dont overdo until flow out haha

My full tank (at Brim) until the reserve light appears.... 400-420km on local riding

(simon's bike can do much more... nabezzz heehee) :cheeky:

U can call me 90088200 if u stay at east... can go see u tonight after 9pm

And truly ...white sibei difficult to maintain , and the water mark pose lots of problems.... clean it off by polishing ...and remember not to leave it there for too long.. very difficult to remove (keep a cloth around so after rain can simply clean off)

All the best

Reason : 1. Because now Bike shop taking in bike price too low and

ppl rather keep it around and if price is right maybe they will sell...

2. Some no internet...so no other alternative to sell but bike shop

or classified

Hi All,

collected my ST from ASphoon today, not bad, done everything nice nice for me, and no any other hidden cost at all, reach there, check bike, pay the difference as stated last week, and i rode my bike off. so ok. road tax, insurance everything as agreed. overall, quite happy.

now on the bike, i'm really novice at it hahaha.. few very silly questions :

1. how to adjust the side mirrors har ? i tried but cannot move leh, scare break it...

2. how to remove the seat ? is there any storage space under the seat ? i tried using the key but can only open the back portion abit, the front like kena stuck..

3. how big is the fuel tank ? how much in the reserve tank ? need to know how much the reserve tank can last me till the next petrol kiosk..

guess that's all at the moment... hope to learn from u guys more in futre outings !

ride it all the way from changi till jurong west just now... super comforfy and power... i regret not getting 1 earlier hehehe...:thumb:

BoonHean,

congrats... :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

we will show u how to adjust the mirrr properly without any damage during our next outing.

mean while ride safely & take ur time to adapt to it...

Hi ashenZ,

Why don't you try the classified section on 15/05/04 ST...???...There is a ST for sale...No harm viewing it....

Wah....the mechanic so yah yah papaya...!!!....Are you sure he's the mechanic or also the boss...???....If I were you, I'll tell him that I don't know and that's why I ask....!!!....That's very rude of him to treat a potiential customer like you...anyway it's their loss..not yours'....you can try taking up the incident to CASE and the shop will be blacklisted....ball is in your court....$$$is in our pocket.....kekekeke...

:D :D :D

To inform CASE about the matter u can call up your nearest police posts/centre and they will inform u about the telephone number.......:cheer: If u dont know:smile:

Hi Guys,

Want to sell my ST11 MRA Windscreen for S$170. Price is non-negotiable. I found it too big. Provide too much wind resistance, hence I am unable to go beyond 160km/h without slight vibration.

Sms me if you want it.

Best regards,

hi guys,

some more questions here heehee...

1. roughly how much is it to install hazzard lights huh ?

2. where do you put your road tax disc ?

3. what is your rpm, let say.. when u're travelling at 100km/h ? mine is around 3k but i suspect my speedometer is not accurate leh, travel at 100km/h like nothing like that.. but try to guage my speed behind cars when passing the speed camera seems correct....

4. anyone fix brouquet charger onto your ST ? last night manage to dismantle my seat (i saw the male stick ! haahaa) and saw a sticker with "Brouquet Charager", wonder whether the previous owner fix 1... i'm a believer of broquet.. it works well on my previous version s....

that's all for now folks. thanks in advance !

hi BoonHean,

1. it's about sgd30, a mechanic claimt to be ST1100 specialist is doing it without shorten of wire harness.

2. anywhere below the wind visor or not at all.

3. it's exactly 300rpm when it's travelling at 100km/hr. the only main plm with ST1100 is the engine revs too smooth until not being aware u r actualy at higher speed than other bikes.

4. not to my knowledge any of our ST1100 guys here dip in with it.

hi BoonHean,

3. as for mine same as yours around 3k rpm, depend on the road. 140kmp is 4k rpm.

4. broquet have many type, dunno ur's is pallets type or those for car wan. If for car wan u will be able to see it if u open up fairing.

hi ashenZ,

Saterday wat time? can't confirm now coz friday night going out might reach home late. PM me ur hp no. if wake up early give u a ring.

U turn just slowly take ur time dun care abt car behind u.

If u have to ur bike at a down slope, do a reverse parking (no reverse gear use ur leg power) :cheeky:

as for Brouquet pallet u need 3/4 pack.

Hi,

I'm also new owner of 2nd hand '97 ST1100 - collected last Sat.

Wonder if any of you every tried loosening girp on handlebar while cruising and notice front wheel wobbling? I notice this on my bike and wonder if the wheel alignment or balance is affected.

Also the engine sounds like a bird chirping. Wonder if any of the belts are loose or that's the ST engine note.

The exhaust note is alright - quite silent. Not like my CB400 Vtec or CBR 954

Wish can meet up with u guys tonite but unfortunately family dinner.

You probably have a worn out tire with pineapple shape. Mine was solved by changing to Dragon Tires. No more wobbles at low speed.
