I'm not a father so I will never understand such a problem. But if I have a child, I will always cut off my air con, engine and take my child out before locking the door. So a compromising situation will not happen.

But in your scenario, smashing the window will be the wisest choice.

Ya oni 100 but some their thinking is nt like tat, $$ is more worth then a life......

I know... I read about the news of a Malaysian woman who locked her baby in the car refusing to allow bypassers to smash the window to save the baby inside who's apparently not responding to anything.

i once happened to see a mother pleading for help from strangers to help her wake up her sleeping child in the car. apparently she asked her tired child to look after the car while she went to buy something. end up the child fell asleep with the car locked and aircon on. so the mum panicked when she couldnt wake her child up. i went to help, along with other strangers. we kept knockin on the window and sort of "vibrate" the car thru sheer strength. we almost wanted to break the window when the child finally woke up..

I wouldnt break the front window though. Mayb the driver's window will do. Then unlock the central locking system and wah lah! U get yr child. also dun forget to call Ambulance too, just in case.. =)
