Anyone know which agency I should contact if I want to find out whether the second hand car I'm going to buy is indeed an accident free car?

There is no way to confirm a used car is accident free.

 

It will only be on record if there is an insurance claim. If the repair is paid out of your own pocket, then there will be no record.

 

Your next best bet is to use AA Used Car Evaluation Service, read here for details

there is no way to find out..but u can check it out in e engine bay....there is actually tell tales sign of accid

There are accident free used cars, accident free meaning no collision with other cars but probably with some lil dents here and there ;] Good luck with your search and don't forget cars do have wear and tear so don't curse and swear immediately thinking you've gotten a lemon
