Was just wondering how many pp have been "poisoned"??

Many hobbies are similar, collecting watches, photography, home-theater, hi-fi, in-car-entertainment, the list continues......

yah man, d70 is a gd cam.

wat lens were u using? thot it'll be nice to use F1.4 for some shots for tht awesome bokeh.

for the moneyplant issue, maybe u can try adjusting the white balance?

yea. agrees, D70 is still a good camera. but the screen's a lil small when we've been spoiled with the larger displays of newer cameras.... even the D80 (my GF's camera) has a nice and large display.

I used an older nikkor lens from before the DSLR era. cant remember what it is.

Maybe i'll try a 50mm f1.4 for greater d.o.f , its like a short cut to pretty pics. :p

So what's your poison?

the hobbies u mentioned (except perhaps watch collecting) are poisonous only if the person is susceptible to poisoning

e.g. wearing watches, taking photos, listening to music on good system are only poisonous if the person starts to become obsessed with gear-collecting, aside from the actual hobby

boring rider. with a boring bike.

too old to want to appear interesting anymore.

well, it still largely depends on what kind of shots u are taking and how you take it

landscape shots dnt normally have lots of DOF

OOH swiftee...

side-track la... e rd350lc is one o the dream bikes i aspired to have when i started biking years ago!! its like the poisoning you mention. As much as i wan to have it, financial and social pressures make it less and less likely a reality. HA... that's why downgrade to a phantom.

well... i kinda agree with you, about your perspective about poisoning, when collection of the physical item becomes more coveted than the actual activity. eg, changin/upgrading audio gear instead of enjoying music.

just thinking out aloud somestimes.....

hehe some more photos.... this time with a Nikon D300S again, which is a lil irritating cos it sees better than my eye can see. details like dust, scratches appear on screen when i can hardly see.

Your hand lor.... ok la. jus kidding,

you can get really low price options, plastic casing; noisy motor etc but imho, not worth it. the 2-watch winders pictured here cost $180each.
