rode my sp to work today and when coming back i started my bike to let it warm up... after abt 5 min of warm up i rode the bike a short dist to say bye to my friends and the engine died...

 

tried kick starting many many times and still cannot start... only after my friend turn the fuel knob from on to off and kick a few time then can start no prob...

 

can anyone explain to me what happened and how to avoid this problem in the future?

 

sorry if this sounds like a stupid qns, this is my first day since getting my sp...

Cheap + fast = no good

when your fuel knob is off, no fuel will be fed into the carb. Hence, your engine die off.

 

In future, just keep your fuel knob to on unless you run out of fuel, switch it to res.
