URGENT! need help!!

tanx for making ur time to open this thread,

 

 

ok,the story begins when im on the way home,my bike suddently "brooop,,,,brooop...." jerk2 and back to normal, but then it again jerk2 and it died..and never alive until now which is 1mth ago.. i checked the spark plug and it did not have any spark!! i just change the plug less then 30mins ago! and i change to new plug also no spark! what must i change? whats the prob? preferably DIY advice.. and PLEASE advice me..im stressed here!

u sure the spark plug is compatible with ur bike? bring to a reputable mech for a check.. n u will know the answers.. =)

yes its compatible..mech change for me.. i use stock carb..no mod..mine stock..its the best

maybe get ur cdi/spark plug cable checked..

could be electrical failure. Check your battery first then wiring

if ur spark plug no spark...

1st

off ur batt

u take the wire which connects to the spark plug.

u take out the spark plug.

then the front header of the wire u twist it out(take out)

u then will see like normal cable wire

then u on ur batt

the front part of the cable wire where u can see the wire come out bring it near to the body frame just like what u did to check the spark plug got spark or not.

make sure ur hand hold at the rubber of the wire if not kena electric shock

then u kick start to see there is spark

if there is no spark appear at the front ur wire our coil should be spoilt.

make sure u do it right.

 

2nd

if there is spark from the wire... then it should be the header of the wire where it connects the spark plug spoilt.. that one change cheap only.. less than $10.

troubleshoot the sparking system...one or more of this components spoilt.

 

there is a possibility of rectifier failure..

any way ..check one at a time

 

1. pulsar coil

2. cdi

3 . high tension coil

4. spaark plug..

 

as well as the wires and connectors connecting them.

 

most common failures

1 spark cap..

2. cdi..

what is high tension coil? and pulsar coil? im riding 125z,not pulsar.. or there is such coil? sorry.. noob here.. just 3years of riding
