claim against me 2007 accident.

hi all,

 

need some advice asap,had an accident with sbs bus on june 2007,pillion was injured and sent to hospital by ambulance,so i made a police report,gave my statement to IO,than received stern warning including the bus driver.tot case closed,bike was very slighty damage,able to ride to bike shop,today received letter from Insurance mitsui stating that the bus company is seeking damages,and i have not reported this to Idac,in the letter stated with effect from June 08,it is a requirement to report within 24hrs or by next working day,failure to comply will affect NCD and rights to seek indemnity.i had the accident on June 07,so wat should i do now,tried calling the claims executive but no answer.so wat should i do as i thought case closed,the bike already traded in and took a new bike,i blame myself for not checking out the right procedure.

Write back to MSI and say that the accident occurred in 2007 before the 24 hour reporting requirement came into effect.
