need help on LED light

installed a led brakelight..few days later.. some of the lights gone..

changed new one.. same prob

any idea why?

maybe wrong power rating... den ur led itself blow... or some of d soldering melted off...

You need to increase the current resistance from the main line to the LED lights. This could be due to high current goin into the LEDs.

 

I had similar prob with my license plate lights. After putting a potentiometer, seems to be better now. LED have not fail on me yet.

Yeah LED blows easily with high voltage .Ur resistance must be high enff.

If u don't know how to calculate like me just bring it to the LED shop at Sim Lim and ask them to check for u what resistor rating u need to add. Will only cost u a few cents
