Hi guys, mine is a R1 06. i wanna remove my headlight to clean the inner part of the glass, its covered with a little dust and the light cant shine properly on the road.

 

anyone knows how i can remove and what kinda of tools i need, etc superglue kinda thing, allan key or spanner.

 

anyone remove his headlight before? please advise.

bro i don think can remove lei maybe can but need alot of work cos my r1 03 cannot remover was told its one pcs

i heard from oneof this forumer that does led light, he say its possible.

i intend to do angel eye from him... at the same time i can clean my headlight=)

actually anted to do it myself but it seems like i have to pay for my clean clean headlight...=(

yes.its possible to remove it. i went to HKL last mth to put an led (angel) . didnt saw hw they do it thou. cos bz looking ard finding spare bike. hehe. mine is r109. cheers bro

Lol r109 don't need to remove way.....your headlight no protection.thanx

u need a heat gun to soften the glue around the head light assy. Once the glue soften, use a scew driver to pry open the plastic cover. That's how i do it for my busa and R1. You can check on Youtube too, some posted videos on this.:thumb:

u need to take out yr whole headlight assembly, put them in a oven and bake till e glue melt and den pry it open..

u can reuse e glue after u done yr cleaning..
