$100 settle can liao.. Small amount of fee to learn a lesson.. You 2 did exchange particulars uh? I think he won't call you and ask for more money again. Cause I personally think he is afraid too. Base on what u say, i think he never check his blindspot. If he were to call up and ask for money again. Then decide on whether to proceed in fighting this case. I don't think it's worth to fight for this $100. It might cost more in the end.

 

This is what I personally feel. Please correct if I've left out something.

 

what happen if the party take the $100 without signing any form? 2ndly he behind ur back report claiming 3rd party insurance? insurer might not tell u ppl claiming u. its a 50-50 in this case.

 

no one know what the driver wife will claim as u can see from this incident, can see its a typical unreasonable lady which can twist from wrong to right but when this will to fight, her twist wont work haha.

 

plus TS bike need to repair too. y should he be the one paying? make no sense.

the advice given by the police to TS is so bad i would say. or just brushing TS off.

Not all nsf police or regulars need to have driving licence.

 

And I wouldnt count too much on TS understanding or quoting from what actually transpired at the police station.

erm, at that moment, I was abit traumatize what came first in my mind is that, he on hazard light and im on the incoming lane. Which i thought is was my fault + the woman keep demand money from me which really makes me think im 100% wrong. But after i calm down, I realized that, how come he did not notice me when my bike is bright yellow, and im wearing a yellow windbreaker. Which came into conclusion that he did not check his blind spot.

1) The driver should have indicated with his signal light which direction he wants to reverse to. Thats the reason for the signal indication lights!

 

2) He need to check his right blind spot and then turn all the way around to the left to make sure there is enough space for him to reverse. As well as to check for vehicles at his lane at his back.

 

3) The turn half the body around move, is also to make sure his back and the slot he wants to go in, is clear.

 

4) When he hit someone. He as a driver, should have stop his wife from uttering anything, because it was his responsibility as the driver.

 

5) What happened has happened. Just spent some time, no even to spend money to make sure your own backside is covered. Why are you focus on suggesting that you are in shock and not doing much about it? Will a further shock, like increasing your premiums or claiming against your insurance be less shocking?
