Foreigner, pass holder want to buy a bike

Hi guys,

 

I'm a foreigner working here is Singapore, I'm a Q1 pass holder. I've been staying, working here for almost a year now, to be exact 8 months.

 

In my country I am a biker I have a CB400 and I like to join groups and friends.

 

My question is:

 

1. Can I buy a bike even if I am a Q1 pass holder?

2. Do I still need to Bid for COE?

3. I have a license but its expired do I need to take driving lessons just to get a license?

 

I'm aiming for only 2B bikes probably I'll buy FZ150 or CBR150. I am not a speed freak but I just want to combine the FUN and DAILY COMMUTING.

 

please I need your advice experts...

2. depends. if new bike, shop would take care, if u buying 2nd hand no need to worry unless is those going to end coe type.

3. go back to the country of origin, renew it, then if they have the international driving card get it come back sg, enroll in the driving centre and do rtt only, and if pass u get ur license.

Oh I get it now... shop will just take care for COE.. hahaha thanks.. I'll be having a bike soon!

Head back to your home country, get the license renewed, and then get it converted to a 2b. The other option is to take 2b classes, which can take upto 6 months!

heading back is good idea but, I'd rather take the option two because I came from a left hand drive.

 

can you tell me how much will I pay for the classes? just estimate

all are in school.

 

class 2b - est $700 (including cr/rr 1 trip)all prac pass 1 time.

class 2a - est $200 (3prac, 1 tp lesson + 1 cr)
