IU issue.

Hi guys. can i just check with you i left my IU unit in the box. it's still in proper working condition but recently i went past a gantry and it failed to detect. they send me a letter asking me to go for IU inspection. If i continue to leave my IU in the box and i go for inspection would i get a fine or anything? I do not want to take it out because if i do that i have to dismantle the wiring which is damn inconvenient.

Your best bet is to mount if back to the front of the bike with the back of the IU facing front & up.

 

Inconvenience to rewire it? I think it'll cause you more inconvenience to continue to risk getting letters to go for inspection whenever you pass a gantry.

guys. my friend had an accident and the IU is not working. it is broken and my friend used scotch tape to tape it back together and put on the bike. however the IU is still under warranty as he just bought a new one last year. can I check whether vicom would change it or is the warranty is voided once broken?

if the IU is in such a bad shape already...do u tink it is still under warranty leh?
