Eye Winesses? - Accident Opposite Tampines Mall Below MRT Tracks

Hi guys,

 

I was involved in an Accident on Fri (10/07/2010) at about 11pm. Location is along Tampines Ave 4 towards Tampines Stadium just before the junction turning into Tampines Mall (Tampines Central 5). Right under the MRT tracks. My bike is FQ1831B, Honda XR400 and the cab is a Comfort blue color Hyundai Sonata. Think the cab number is 3343.

 

I'm appealing for eye witnesses who saw the accident take place. Those familiar with the area will know there's a car stopping bay just before the junction after the bus stop and overhead bridge. This idiot of a cabbie cut all lanes from from that stopping bay to turn right or U-turn at the junction. And since there's a line waiting to turn right, he did this manouvre in a space of app. 10-15m cutting into me who was on the right most lane.

 

I jammed my brakes and next thing I knew I was on the ground bleeding and in pain. Those whom witnessed the accident take place do help to give me a call at 90270266 pls...Injuries sustained are multiple abrasion all over body and face, 6-7 stitches, 2 fractured ribs..

 

Thank You very much..Hope to get this reckless driver. I've been riding for 7 years. And this is my 1st accident.

The reckless mongrel didn't stop to assist? Shrugs, I live nearby but i didn't witness it. It's almost every single accident that happened within this span of time involved a sonata. it's about time LTA do some deep revision to that "turbo-dieseled-faster-than-you" brand taxi.

Wld luv 2 help but I oni witness an accident near e shell Pasir ris on 6/7/10 @ 1230hrs btwn a super 4 rider & a blue sonata cab.... kinda scary too coz i saw it 'live'... his head wiz a full face helmet of coz almost got crush by e rear tyre of e cab. a guy driving a black honda stop at a side of e road and gav e rider some medical assistance while me oni guide traffic (not train on medical assistance). If e rider needs a witness, pls do pm me. wld gladly help.

would love to help but i miss the accident part,what i saw is u and one guy sitting on the road divider den got one uncle help u over to the side of the road rite?aniway take care and hope u get well soon bro
