i will recommend garmin gps. their maps are always upddated, where you can download for free. there are other brands but heard that their maps are very seldom updated. garmin is more on malaysia & spore map. recently google & saw some1 selling @ only $150, others sell $200+. i'm getting it soon as my N95 just spoilt, which i always use as gps, very :thumb:. i'm never lost w/o it.

yes Garmin is my first gps device and it works wonder with a good price tag :cheeky:

I've tried several mate's brands of GPS in SG and outside SG all the way to KL. Garmin works best and the rest will make you holland even in SG itself. Weird but true. Imagine it asks you to get off the highway in sg and then back onto the same highway after doing 2 u-turns. Picture the same thing but when you're on the NSHW, a u-turn is uber far away. :thumb:

 

Thus only Garmin SG agent, not PI.

i bought Garmin205 >2yrs back for $200 & it still serving me beri well. used it in Malaysia, Bali & Thailand. wonderful piece of GPS :thumb:
