Bro, care to tell me how much you bought it on the road and from which shop. Thanks..

Bought it more than 9k but less than 10k. All in inclusive of coe, insurance ect. Sorry I cannot disclosed the exact figure. Go to Global Morotsports located at :

No. I Kaki Bukit Ave 6

#02-47 Autobay@Kakit Butkit

Singapore 417883

Tel: 67434477

I will vote them the niecest people you can find among the sg bike shops. Not like those common ah bengs. No regret buying Joymax. No regret buying my bike from Global Motorsports. I will continue to patronise them as long as they maintain this high level of good customer service before and after sales. Pls be reasonable with them because they are reasonable people.

I hope this bike shop can revolutionalize the way the rest of our sg bike shop operates their business.

Bro Nexus 300 around 9K plus OTR.....Xciting 300 around 11K OTR.....price wise Nexus better of course but if you got money to spare go for Honda Silverwing or Yamaha T-Max 400 both around 13K OTR.....SYM Joymax the cheapest Maxi-Scoot at 9K OTR but SYM bike got tendency to rust and fade fast but parts are cheap to find...just my 2 cents worth and my current ride is a Nexus 300 and so far loving it!!!

Bro no offence, pls allow me to correct.

1. A new Tmax is 500 not 400 OTR (not inclusive of insurance is 18.5k. A new Silverwing is 15.8k. Let me know where I can get a Tmax or Silverwing at the price that you mentioned. I would like to buy them at that price which you mentioned immediately.

2. Any bike with metal parts, without proper maintenance will eventually rust.

If a new TMAX, priced at 13k OTR, I would trade my TMAX and get the latest model.

Just viewed the Sym Joymax. Design wise, I prefer Kymco Xciting or Nexus 300. Price check was about 8.5k otr without insurance. It's the cheapest compared to both models mentioned.

good question. Dont know about the sym. But let me tell u my experience with the taiwan brand.

my kymoc 250 cc scooter died. Had it only for 8 months. did all the maintenance. Figure the crankshaft or conrod bearing went. Could hear metal grinding. It could spark, and it could combust, albeit the briefest of times. But couldnt keep turning. this taiwan brand was my first to give up and die without warning. All during my daily 6 km ride to work. mech guy claims previous owner never took care. 8 months ago told me the opposite, said the owner took good care. funny+amnesia+dyslexic=bullsh1t. mine was a 2005 model. They MAY have improved. I dont know. I'm not buying them again. .

Bro, you buy the bike from which motor shop?

My previous SYM GTS 2000 (registered 2005) which had 31,000km when I took over. Used it for 1 yr and clocked up to 44,000km and sold it. Never have any problem with my previous GTS during my ownership. It start up all the time. Very reliable I would say. Thats why I had sold it and upgraded to a new Joymax. So far never regret having owned SYM scooters.

You must be experienced enough to see the bike condition before buying it. Cool bro!!:)

If you notice the bikes that many of those fast food delivery guys are using on the road, mostly they are either Excel II or Fighter. Both are from SYM. Most of the time, they lut the SYM scooters like no body business. With big companies like Pizza Hut also investing into SYM scooters, you can trust that there are certain standart of reliability on SYM scooters.

Make sense.. Any Pizza Hut riders out there wishes to give any inputs??

Haha most probably got nothing do with reliability but more to do with price as its cheap!!!

:nono: If you think SYM Excell II is cheap than I say Honda Wave is even cheaper.

Think.

Bro,

Get the Gilera Nexus la.

Very curious why you're comparing between these two brands. It's really very obvious choice leh.

It's as good as comparing an Alfa Romeo against a... is there a taiwanese car brand??

I'm an ardent fan of Piaggio, and I feel that their bikes have more power, and much easier to mod.
