went to the USA for 3 months for a programme. bike couldn't start via electronic. had to push start. at this point i successfully push started it and i'm letting it idle motor for 40 minutes. should i go to a motor tiam to change to a new battery and screw the old one? if so, which one do you guys recommend? i'm at the west side so if have, do recommend. are the uncle shops at bukit merah reliable? i've always gone there for motor oil change..

now i "recharge" already. let it idle for 40 minutes. just turned off. when i tried starting it again using electronic start, it started immediately as if i didn't go away for 3 months. what's your suggestion?

Better do a complete diagnostics on your bike for safety reasons. A bike that has not been start for 3 months can get cranky sometimes. My old phantom used to complain about "back aches" and everything else when I did not ride it for a week! She's a good girl though, still misses her sometimes.

Things like, check for battery leaking if any and rusted points. Also check your sparkies and EO. Brake fluid if its fouled, remember to pump your types and check for cracks!
