I'm sure you already know that laid vehicles cannot be used on public road.

"A laid up vehicle shall not be used or kept on a public road or a public place.

It is an offence if a laid up vehicle is found not at its reported garage address.

It is also an offence for not seeking approval from the Registrar before relocating a laid up vehicle."

From http://www.onemotoring.com.sg/publish/onemotoring/en/lta_information_guidelines/maintain_vehicle/lay_up.html

Even in the form states the following:-

"(d) It is an offence if the vehicle is found not garaged at the reported garage address, or if the Registrar of Vehicles is not informed in advance of the vehicle being moved from the reported garage address during the lay up period. Please inform LTA using this form if there is a change in garage address.

(e) The vehicle must be towed to any authorized vehicle inspection centre for inspection before it may be considered for re-licensing. The application for re-licensing of the vehicle after inspection has been approved can be made through the Internet (www.onemotoring.com.sg), AXS station or at any authorised mad tax collection centres."

Anyway cannot find the penalty for the offence. Can I say the offense is similar to not having road tax and insurance?

Can it be similar to this?

"It is also a serious offence for anyone to use or allow the use of a vehicle without a valid motor insurance cover. The penalty for this serious offence is a fine of up to $1,000 or to imprisonment of up to 3 months or to both, and a mandatory disqualification from holding a driving licence for at least 12 months, upon conviction in court."

instead of being sorry abt ur actions, u are looking for a way to escape... clearly u have not learnt from this.

anyways... u will lose ur license. retake after 1 yr...

alternatively, don't retake after 1 yr... retake after u are matured enough to be responsible for your own actions.
