Hi guys. Just bought a Evo RS959, however i misunderstood my friend's advice and was actually told this helmet not recommended due to poor durability about its ventilation pop-ups(not sure about its name) at the top of the helmet. 3 of his friends had their pop-ups dropping off. After some thorough inspection of the helmet at home, i learnt that those pop-ups are merely glued into place by hot glue, a very cheap and poor durability glue. Anyone had this issue with the helmet?

Never had this problem with it. Only problem is the fitting is different from the older model I have. I guess you got from the bad batch. :faint:

Hahaha no lah. I just bought it brand new, impossible to spoil so fast already. Just that my friend adviced me about this only. Shall see again. This helmet also very comfortable too, unlike the MFizz Evo that i tried out.

Haha well i dunno if my definition was correct anot, having worked under QA before.. It means that specific batch of helmets had manufacturing defects. Do correct me if im wrong. :)

Yeah. Usually most shops will replace it for a new one seeing that its a manufacturer defect.

Alamak, just 1 day of usage, the venti are falling off alr. wtf. one side alr popping up freely. but it appears to me as a design flaw, not a manufacturer defect because the glue used is hot glue, which is a temporary fixture, not permanant or strong enough to last very long. Unless the design is changed, the problem will persist forever. Gonna use UHU glue and stick it back, but is this considered illegal modification to helmets? :/
