I live in Bedok, goin jb is not dat far but also not dat near.. I pump in Sg, only if I'm goin to Jb to eat or shop then I'll pump there..

Sure, no prob...

Better if there's more like minded riders joining... Haha nowadays washing of bike is a pain, wash alr then it rains...

Some of my fren say they dun wash and wait for the rain to wash for them but rain water corrodes stuff n its not really considered washing as it can never have the effect of soap(vehicle wash soap) n pure water.

See this thread stop for so long, a happy CNY to all. Btw for 2nd servicing, normally how many clicks you guys go for servicing.

 

The shop told me 2nd tym should be around 1.6k then go, so wad do u guys think about it.

hi all, i'm selling my ex gts spares n accessories due to no more riding this bike.

 

1) Unused Dr pullery hit clutch set consist of clutch, bell assy n 6 sets of springs for $400.(retail at $550)

 

2) Monokey rack with Givi 45L sliver box(2 keys) n base plate for $70.(SOLD)

 

3) A stator unit spare consist of a rubber seal, spring n plastic cover for $30.(retail at $65)

super nice bike, esp the big long mirror n auto gear lol. dont like the rear brake for left hand nia... perfer right leg but still ok. quite stable bike although now still running in any idea was the FS for this bike ?

My avg speed is between 90-110km/h... At times I go faster than dat. If my joymax is alr abt 35km/l, does dat means gts 200 will do a better fc? Or it will not because joymax using newer system? Haha but I'm alr glad dat my joymax is doin this fc alr.(still haven't go for 2nd oil change btw)

Ok, as usual welcome to the sym family. WHile runnin in, I do approx 80km/h + -. I try not to go further than 100km/h. Now I'm still waitin for my 2nd oil change which will due most probably end of the month.

 

As for the vibrating part, I dun really feel anythin? Maybe becoz I used to ride daelim rw whereby theres more severe vibrations during low rpm.

 

If possible, try to update us wif ur ride n maybe can post some of ur bike pic...

I read thru the SYM manual and it recommend not to go above 50km/h which i think its impossible... so does it mean if we go above that it will harm the engine? Although i am a ride for more than 10 years, this is my first new bike. So i am not really sure... lol... riding at 70km/h is seriously torturing lol.. the vibration could be due to low rpm... i will try again tomorrow

I doubt very few can really go to the extend of riding it at 50km/h.

Same here, its my new bike as well, hope it can be well taken care of by us..

 

For me, I feel dat as long as we dun ride above 100km/h is fine, keep it around 80km/h... N its fine til now

Hi today I did some check on my bike. I removed the entire seat revealing the entire engine compartment. Everything look so new lol and I found a disconnected connector behind the under seat light not sure wats that for will check with mah motor when I send my bike for first oil change on monday. Donno is it too kiasu to follow the manual to change oil at 300km or not. Anyway the end can protector was loose when I tried to tighten them so u guys better check urs out.

 

I have problem checking the rear traffic. Both side mirrors can only see my arms and side vehicles but not the back.

 

Also when carrying shopping bags in the rear box and my wife, the front seems to be extremely light... Really dangerous

Did you adjust the mirror? I dun really feel dat light as u mention when I pillion. I So u bought the bike from Mah motor? So I think ur bike can really put quite alot of stuff as u have a rear box n the trunk as well.

hola, try buying the small round mirrors frm petrol kiosk and stick @ the outer end of your mirrors(make sure adjust the optimal position), it works for me.

It's a way out also putting the small mirror; glad to know one more sym rider here. I'm goin for my 2nd servicing soon in abt a week tymdunno should I continue at future scootering or try hlc which is nearer to my place....
