Just got my GTS200, it seem to jerk alot during the start of the ride although i did let it warm up for a couple of mins. Does anyone have this problem or is it common?

I do have the same problem. Usually after 1 whole night parking at MSCP .... i tilt my bike to the left for a while before starting ...so far no more jerk....not sure this will work on ur bike..:) and don't ask me why since ive no idealah ... My dad did the same thing on his Vespa long long time ago :) and i nvr asked him why .....

I juz google it and found some pics n reviews of it. I can say it is a nice bike but we are juz waitin to see if the price tag is justified. Its definitely slightly more powerful than 300i and good for touring as well. Juz to see how much more do we have to pay for the extra 100cc of engine.

 

im not riding gts but i heard from a fellow owner of 300i that the actual cc of the bike according to the log card is 260cc only. not 300. not sure true or not though :\

Yes you are not wrong, the actual cc is actually 267 or something like that... It is not fully 300cc or 299 cc.

But trust me that you feel the power n wouldnt feel unable to keep up to pace on the road.

Now the 400cc is coming out(I guess not so soon) but I have no regrets getting the joymax 300i.

Haha friend maybe also. But the price that I bought joymax 300i is in fact very very reasonable compared to Mah Motor. I bought it at 8k without ins n IU; Mah Motor selling 9k without ins but with IU. So you guys make the comparison and think if I really get it at a steal. I dunno its becoz Mah motor selling it more expensive or I bought it cheap. But the price that I bought a first hand 2a bike is really one of the most reasonable in the market.

Black Joymax 300i Registered Jul2010 in mint condition for sale. Not urgent but wish to sell it away. Well maintained always parked under shelter. Come with GIVI Box E450 and bracket. IU hide under glove box no drill. Go M'sia wash and polish once a week. Very reliable scooter with reasonable power even when overtaking at 100km/hr on expressway. Average FC comsumtion 32km/L. Always pump Shell V-power. Fully Paid No more loans.

Hi All,

 

Just bought a new GTS200 on wednesday...

 

Had problems topping up petrol... it spilled all over... any tips?? Hehe...

 

As for engine oil, which is preferred for this bike? not too sure of the different engine oil...

 

I'm staying in bedok/tampines (shuttle around)... where should i go and change engine oil and do servicing?

1. every month? nah not every month. its the same stuff u do for a bike.. every 4000km chng engine oil. once a while spark plug 12000-15000km change belt,rollers and clips. the belt roller clips is abt 120+/- engine oil and spark plug is the same for all bikes as always.

 

2. fuel consumption depends on how u ride it. i get 30km/l at least. so get 26km/l +/-

 

3. first hand OTR is abt 6k+7k second hand can range frm 2.5k to 5k depending on age
