Hello All Varas........

 

Today just did the engine oil change (Amsoil)x 2 botteles...oil filter..spark plugs.. tuning of Carb...tighten of chain...all cost $58...

 

Paul quoted me the price for Air Filter approx...$90+++...but that was last year's price...but this year don't know....so i told him once i came back from the KL trip like a mid of December....around the 15th December...

 

So any of u guys wanna change air filter..can consider this good deal....i'll try to negotiate with him lah...then i'll let all know through the forum...by the way the filter is not KNN....and no offence to those using KNN but he told me that KNN is for racing bikes and if u wanna use it.....CAN...BUT....you have to kinda service or blow it now and then..as it get dirty or choke if u dont service often.

But job wise...u hav 2 go for it man....u have a family...thats the main concern..

Wah....it seems that to those who using K&N filters is only me....Never Mind!...Ada Way, Ada Jalan...One Day, I will Jalan!....eheheheh....

 

Anyway guyz, trust me on this....i would not know my air filter is K&N until the boon siew mechanic told me...but whether it is K&N filter i dun know...i only tell u guyz what the mechanic told me...If it is K&N filter fixed onto my bike....then i dun think it is suitable for our vara...got to trust me on this...i am suffering...

 

By the way, juz want to share...Paul went to Penang six times...he only stop when he need to pump petrol...in other words, our bike can tahan!...Never regret when buying this bike...

bro dakar ya welcome i wished i could help ya more wif ya pc if more problem comes on but at my work place alot of ppl bringing high end, top of the range laptops n still having alot of problem more over some bought laptop more than $5k....really stupid to put such money 2 waste on lousy gadgets if only they knew varadero like we do n the satisfaction of owning wif almost no problem at all...hehe!

btw i found out dat our bike hv limiter in the exhaust n now i am finding ways to bypass it n someone who can do it n when inspection comes close n if there is a need for the so call legal set up back if not see how it pass the inspection...cheers mate....hehehe!

 

btw anyone knows who is riding vara 1k black fw 7434?

Not so sure if the limiter is at the exhaust.....but i remember there is a shop who can "remove" the limiter for S4; the shop is at Ubi. But cant recall which one.

By the way, I too have a problem starting my bike each morning.

New bike some more.

Pulling the choke makes it worst as engine dies IMMEDIATELY.

Sometimes, i waste 10 minutes just trying to start it.

Adjusted idling to 1500 rpm already, but still now have starting phobia.

Anyone has better ideas ?

chow there is nothing wrong with ya bike juz bcuz ya bike is still very virgin dats y it needs to icrease the rpm cuz the whole engine, pipes, fuel intake too clean haven season yet...hehe!

 

trust me cuz my fren who bought a new vara125 $8800 w/o otr did the same thing more over do change ya engine after 500km if ya really wanna take care of ya bike bro n handle it gently like ya precius new wife from europe...hehehe!

 

use shell v power till ya 1st oil change den dun fast pick up or go beyond 80km/h yet....enjoy slowly k cheers mate! any prob juz sms me at 90223375

 

 

daystar i went to ah wah at yishun, he told me my other vara fren had open extra hole but performance hv yet to know n he said maybe inspection problem cuz it alot louder than the original sound...will keep ya inform once my fren is back from camp...hehehe!
